Classes for children 3yrs - 6yrs of any ability. The Mini drama class provides an introduction to the world of performing atrs. The emphasis in these classes is to build confidence and self belief .The children are encouraged to experiment with music, movement , dance , sounds, speech and have lots of fun! The mini drama children all have a chance to take part in performances and competitions.
Classes for children 7yrs - 10 yrs of any ability Junior drama classes focus on all perfomance skills , dance, singing, stage craft, poetry, mime, technical skills, make-up. The emphasis is to build confidence and a focus on each childs individual skills and allow themt to flourish.The children can express there own ideas through performance, which they can showcase also. The children also can compete in festivals and sit examinations.The children have fun making friends with like minded children. Classes for children 11yrs - 18yrs of any ability Senior drama classes focus on all performance skills, adding in poetry, and set texts , plays, solo performance work and group. The children come to build confidence , to learn leadership skills, work as a team. The children all take examinations and perform in competitions they can use these classes to help with GCSE and ALevel drama work.The children also enjoy the social atmosphere the classes bring.
Individual Lessons for all ages and abilities. The lessons run for 30mins and in blocks of 10 . These classes are avaliable on week evenings. The classes are taylored for your individual needs which you can discuss with Sarah Rawlins when you first make contact.
Individual tuition prices vary depending on the types of lessons required. Again these can be discussed when making enquiry.
Group Drama Class for children age 7yrs - 18 yrs Groups will be divided in appropriate age. The class size will be no more that 6 children.This class covers the same work as an individual lesson for children wishing to sit exams in performance or public speaking. The cost of the hour session is cheaper that a individual lesson and the class is longer but still allows for children to recieve more personal attention but still be working in a group.This class would be delivered on week eveinings.1 hour in blocks of 10. Adult Drama Classes. It would be nice to have a small adult drama group and am happy to try and organise this. A week evening will suit most so if I get enough enquiries we could make this class happen!
The annual Grendon Hall visit is a fantastic experience, usually taking place over a weekend and featuring a whole host of drama-based activities, in a variety of different environments, Top Cats is looking to expand the trip to a week-long venture, with all sorts of fun activities lined up. www.grendonhall.org.uk - Grendon Hall, Northamptonshire
We like to invite various local , talented performers to Top Cats and when they are not busy in the West End or taking part in concerts and festivals to come in and teach the children some of the brilliant skills they have learnt whilst working with some of the top choreographers and producers in England. Good Luck Sam!. Sebastian Goss - Sebastian lead a great workshop focussed on song writing skills and poetry. Students wrote poems and Sebastian, with his acoustic guitar, taught them how to put it to music.Sebastian will be the center head for Top Cats Rushden please contact for more information. .
Hooded tops are available in a wide range of sizes, for both Mini Drama and Junior/Senior students. Mini Drama hooded tops: £17.50 Also available are Top Cats t-shirts, priced at £10.
